Chelsea boss Enzo Maresca has confirmed Joao Felix is available to feature at Wolverhampton Wanderers on Sunday.
“He is available as an option and of course he has a chance to play,” the Italian head coach said.
“In terms of knowing how we’re going to play, he’s probably not ready yet. In terms of strength, he’s ready because he’s already playing there, so it’s just a matter of whether he needs more time to understand how we’re going to play. But overall, I think he’s playing.”
“He’s a player who can help us. He has the potential to be a top player for sure. I’ve known Zhao for many years. Working with him on a daily basis gives me a better understanding of him. We’ll try to help him develop and see if he can take the next step to reach the level of the best.”
‘He is a player that is going to help us,’ added Maresca. ทางเข้า https://ufabet999.app ‘Potentially he is a top player, no doubt. I know Joao for many years. Working with him day by day, I will know him even better. We are going to try to help him improve and see if he can take one step forward to reach the level of the [very best] players.’
Felix’s move was completed on Wednesday, too early for him to be included in the squad for the first leg of the Conference League playoffs the following day.
However, Maresca revealed that the Portuguese is available and could make his second appearance at Molineux.
